Lokasi: French Guiana. Nouragues Field Station and vicinity. In and around Camp Inselberg. Alt. 200 m. (656.2 ft.) 04° 05' 18", 052° 40' 46" (4.088, -52.679).
Pelukisan: Epiphyte, planted in camp by kitchen. Leaves sagittate; blades 16-17 cm wide at petiole, 25-27 cm long from petiole to apex, the lobes divergent, 11-12 cm long [largest leaves measured]. Petioles 37-38 cm long. Some aerial roots encircle tree, the larger aerial roots leading to ground tuberculate. Spathe enclosing immature inflorescences green, erect, spathe fallen from fruiting spadix, the spadix curved downward, the fruits reddish-orange. Pulp eaten by ants and by a nocturnal rat, seeds white. Collection of photos only.
